Oh, that's interesting! For some reason I'd assumed that any kind of digging was disallowed on the other quizzes, and I thought I was following the model already put forth for consistency. If one recognizes that the composer has to be Motoi Sakuraba for example, but don't know the song itself it's probably from a game that you haven't played but a list of Motoi's games could help out some. It adds another layer to the quiz in that it isn't only about having played the most games but also being able to listen to the music and being able to narrow down the possible answers.
Of course if the author of the quiz think this is cheating it is, I just wanted to pitch in my two cents on the matter.
