What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Am I the only one that didn't care for the Rogue One trailer?

1. Annualize anything and I'm going to get bored. Disney churning out Star Wars like the Marvel schedule is going to suck. I can try to be neutral and ignore this except it's going to be exploding all over the media and shoved in my face.

2. Not so much a knock on the trailer content itself, but I wish I could super kick whoever started the dubstep-esque trailer format that I've hated since before it was created. Cue bam loud bass and drums and tons of ADD cuts with dozens of fade to black cuts... ugh, it's so damn obnoxious and annoying. These trailers never get me pumped and are just an eyesore and completely lame. Anyone else agree? lmao. The Force Awakens trailers were way more subtle and cool.

3. How big is Star Wars' world? Someone try to articulate that to me because it's probably not possible. BUT, here we go, we have to bleed the OT material dry. Yep, clearly this universe has nothing else to offer so let's bring in Shia LaBeauf for young Han Solo and explore Boba Fett's past when nobody really cares, and throw in some pointless Darth Vader cameos to keep selling toys.

This is the part where you invalidated all of your opinions regarding Star Wars. :P

I'm more into it than I was for The Force Awakens (which was barely at all). If only they added Kyle Katarn to semi-canonize Dark Forces (they had to be thinking it with the black armored troopers) they'd get my fanboy levels to maximum.

Heck yeah Kyle Katarn is one of the best characters in the franchise.

Boba Fett basically does nothing in the movies and is pathetic in Return. Yeah I liked him as a kid and he's cool in games. But seriously on the movies themselves, he's nothing. Which is going to be the same situation with Captain Phasma I'm sure. Cue merchandise, comics, novels, and she will eventually get her spinoff movie, because of her amazingly dense and captivating performance and role in The Force Awakens.

Boba Fett is one of the problems I have with Return of the Jedi. They set up this character to be a big, menacing opponent in Empire only to have him be completely laughable when he finally gets into a fight.

Han Solo was blind and accidentally killed him.

Nuff said.

Or Did he Star Wars Episode XXXXIV Bobas Revenge  .

Seriously though they brought Darth Maul back from getting chopped in freaking half so Boba Fett could easily have survived  .

Fun note, 40 is XL :D (XLIV)

I think it might be a foregone conclusion that Boba Fett might be not really dead. But the difference between that and Darth Maul is, Maul was revived while at Lucasfilm pre-Disney and Fett was re-confirmed deader than dead in the same time period (Even though it contradicted the EU).

Maybe they'll change it? Maybe they'll do a Boba Fett movie first to see if it's going to matter.
