what xbox live arcade titles should i actually buy

just got my 360 online and downloading a lot of demos and trial games. wondering what everyone else thinks is worth the 10 bucks on the console? so far i am really liking

braid
rez hd
ikaruga
mega man 9
metal slug 3

i know a lot of the titles are readily available on other platforms but it's kind of nice having some of my favorite games (ikaruga, rez) with updated graphics at my fingertips. what do you guys think? i haven't tried castle crashers yet. any good puzzle games? any overlooked gems? thanks for the input.

This. Not sure it's the best 360 evar, but it's certainly awesome. I've spent so much time playing it. What makes it so great is it is that it works on two levels. Each game only goes for 5 or 10 minutes at a time, but you will play them over and over trying to read patterns and get that high score. So it's both casual and deep.

I was playing ms3 today... and man... something feels off. I don't know if it's the controls or what... something feels really broken on the xbla port.

Well, if you don't mind buying games on the 360 you could get on the Dreamcast, I really enjoy Triggerheart Excelica. It's got some interesting mechanics and I love it.

While I don't have a 360, the first games I'd go after would be Castle Crashers and Braid. Even if Castle Crashers isn't that good, I like the company's art-style and there seems to be a subculture surrounding the game that makes it seem like something worth experiencing.

Also, if I didn't already have it for the PC, I'd get Psychonauts. I'd say that is more important for you to play that Symphony of the Night is. (Still, get both if you can)

Edit: Oh yeah, I really enjoy Street Fighter II HD on the PS3, but from what I hear the d-pad on the 360 can be a pain. So, if possible, get an arcade stick.

dont bother with metal slug3 as it looks horrible,just like sam sho3 way to much filtering going on.
