NES AV output??
I was just wondering if all NES consoles have the AV (white and yellow) outputs on the back or if only some of them do.

Re: NES AV output??
All NES model one consoles have AV ports on the side. The American NES model two don't have any. The model one NES is probably the one you're thinking of. It's the one with a front loading cartridge slot, and the console looks like a box. The NES 2 is smaller and has a top-loading cartridge slot.
BTW the AV ports are actually colored Yellow and Red but you can plug White into the red port and it will work.

Thank you! I didn't even know those were there, I have been using the annoying RF adapters for quite some time, but this makes it much easier.slowslow325 wrote:All NES model one consoles have AV ports on the side. O ok, yea I'm thinking of the model one, not the top loader. Thats awesome cause I just ordered a model one, and was hoping it has those, since RF cable makes the picture quality pretty bad on my tv.slowslow325 wrote:All NES model one consoles have AV ports on the side. Wow. I had no idea the NES Top Loader didn't have AV out...kinda a step back isn't it?
