Ugh - I should've done some more regular before the daily.

Is there any way to predict what's in the grey pots? I'm wondering if they're worth opening if it's a crap-shoot, unless you have a way to open it from afar that is. I whipped open a pot and a yellow seeking scorpion did 3 damage in like 8 seconds and run over.

I did get a shotgun in regular mode - that's a pretty great item. Does it last until you die? I didn't see an ammo counter or anything.

Pots are a crapshoot.

Shotgun rules. You keep it til you pick up something else.

Mike, hit the pots with a rock, that will kill an enemy, if one is inside. If a rock isn't available pick up the pot and toss it (you tosspot). Useful for setting off traps too.

Incidentally, I was about 3 seconds away from killing Olmec on the practice run I did right before this until he dropped a spider on me that I never even saw. :x

Typical Spelunky run today: everything is going well, until it doesn't. I whipped open a chest while standing on a ladder and it contained a bomb. No big deal I'll just go up this ladder. Instead I somehow whipped the chest in such a way that it hit me in the head and knocked me to the bottom of the ladder whilst simultaneously dropping the bomb on my head. Boom, run over.

What I learned today:

Picking up a stunned man-eater is a bad idea. It will quickly come back to life and eat you.

Don't enter the door until the girl has been "accepted", else you'll leaver her outside the door.

Modest improvement over yesterday. Level 2-1 and 20K on the nose.
