Should I Sell Here or Just Use Ebay?

How active is the B/S/T forum? I see lots of people posting things for sale or trade but it's not always easy to tell how things are selling, how often/how fast, etc.

Or should I just use ebay?

I don't have anything super rare or anything. Just an SMS with a few games, a NES with a few games, and a SNES with some of the classics.

You could always try selling here first. It is typically safer selling here as you dont get the ebay buyer shenanigans, and your stuff usually goes to someone who appreciates it.

Unfortunately, the bst activity here has dropped a lot from a few years ago. Probably many factors into why.

If time isn't an issue, I would definitely try and sell here first. Anything left over can be put on eBay. There's a few reasons (some already stated) but the best reason is to avoid eBay fees.

I honestly haven't given it much thought... The SMS and NES would be bundles probably. The SNES... maybe not. I have quite a few games for it so I'm not sure what it would be best to do.

Time is a little bit of an issue. We are moving at the beginning of June and I would love it if I didn't have to move this stuff on the basis that moving sucks.

I would suggest putting up the list here with a time stamp saying it's available until X day(such as April 15, 2016), and then post it up to eBay on the day you said so.

Throw it up on here for a week if nobody bites slowly add it to eBay.

If you do eBay I highly recommend parting it out and doing Buy It Now listings it ends up being a lot faster and safer since payment is required immediately. Plus a a 30 day BIN listing costs the same as a 1-7 day auction and actually BIN is actually an option with the 50 free listings everyone gets each month.

If using ebay remember you can add buyer requirements to avoid scammers and also you can use only priority mail so the package will be insured.

I don't sell often but I usually try here first when I do. It's a lot less stressful and people are always fair and friendly from my experiences.
