shrug.

Anyway, to get back on track to Windows 10 - I currently have it installed on 3 PC's in my game room: my main gaming rig, my Alienware laptop, and my arcade stand build. Looking at the OS as a just a gamer, I've been very happy with it.

There have been gamer speed-bumps, sure. As mentioned, the broken Xbox One controller driver was silly. But there was an easy fix. I can understand gamers being upset at the SecureROM lock-out, but there is actually logic to that decision AND there are workarounds if you want to jump through some hoops.

But all in all, I think it's a great OS for gaming. Killer Instinct is hitting PC this week. I'm pretty sure that's the first PC game I'm knowingly picking up that is Win10 only.

It is coming out in a few hours! Around 11am EST. Here is a direct link to the PC version. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/g ... blggh1z149

And here is the season 3 launch trailer that was released yesterday.

I'm not fully sure what the advantage will be - but I'm still all for it. I'm guessing that anyone who benefits from being able to run Linux in Windows is much smarter than I am anyway. But I like that it's a thing, and that it's not just a VM.
I hope they call it LINE...
Well, nobody's gonna stop us from calling it that.

I'm more interested in the linked article about getting containers in Windows. We've been heavily leveraging Docker at work and I'd love to see something similar on Windows.

Haven't read VGCats in a while, but this is pretty much correct.

Install GWX Control Panel. I know I did.

I installed Windows 10 with my own free will. I did it on several PC's. I'm happy I did.

Oh, I've heard it's not bad at all. I just don't have any impetus to right now. I've just now managed to get my laptop in relatively functional order with new graphics drivers, and I suspect going to Windows 10 will completely bork that.

what GPU do you have? My laptop is an Alienware X11m from like 2010 or 2011 and Nvidia had Win10 compatible drivers for it.
