Nice collection, and so many boxed games. Not to mention the blue system and all those boxed accesories. Very cool

Very, very nice Scooter. I like the GG and plan on getting one someday when I find the right price.

If you aren't afraid of spending a little more than average, look for a seldom used unit that is still boxed. These systems show abuse pretty bad and less used ones are less likely to have the sound system caps failures (yet) and typically have a better picture. The later Majesco systems (black case, purple start button, white not color GG logo on the screen lens) actually have a higher quality screen built in. The only limitations these have is that they aren't compatible with the TV Tuner but now with the switch to DTV that's pretty much a moot point anyway.

I'm surprised; I'm not seeing any love for the master gear convertor in these pics. It's a neat little convertor that lets you play master system games. Though I wouldn't necessarily call SMS games "portable", I wouldn't necessarily call the game gear portable either :)

Find me an original Sega brand Master Gear converter in the original box for a reasonable price and I'll add it to my collection. I've been looking for a long time....

Did they even do such a thing? The only ones that I have ever seen are the Gear Master ones. I have one of those in a box although it is missing the screw.

I cant even see a pic on the net of a sega branded one

Badass collection. I had a gamegear once - still do - and the screen never worked properly, half of it was always darker than the othr half but other than that it was a wicked portable for the time. Heavy as a brick, drained AA batteries like no tomorrow, who wouldn't love it
