Games Acquired 2016
Re: Games Acquired 2016
I had the Gameboy game (Konami) Batman the Animated Series (Gameboy) show up. I got a stellar deal on it. Saw it locally for $30, saw it was a $25 average online. Some guy posted it for far less at $13 plus shipping with an obo, and I got it for $10+shipping.
It's a great game that flew under the radar.

My physical copy of this arrived today:

Only pointing that out, because I might be the only person on the forum who ordered a physical Vita edition of this. Had to import it. I'm having to import more and more Vita games these days... which goes to show the Vita is definitely on its way out domestically. Sad. To. Say.

I'm sorry, Exhuminator. Apparently my purchasing one killed it. And after all that convincing you did, too, only to see my endorsement of the platform force such a depressing turn.
Had no idea that they were still actually making Digimon games... or that Media.Vision was involved in this one. That's the Wild ARMs people, for those keeping track. They also develop the Chaos Rings games.
For my money, the Digimon cartoons were far better than Pokemon. I watched quite a bit of them when they debuted here.

I'm also really sad that the Vita is on its way out
I've really loved playing on my Vita TV so far... Much more than my 3DS anyway ha ha
I really need to get an actual Vita though. I always prefer consoles to handhelds but I can't exactly play them while I travel

I really really want that game but I'm holding out for a Bestbuy daily deal or clearance on itExhuminator wrote:My physical copy of this arrived today:

Is it better than Truxton?
Oh, and hold off on that RCR if you can...

Re: Games Acquired 2016
I've held off on picking up a Vita because of how few games that seem to catch my interest are released physically here. I'm not turned away from importing, I just fear that I wouldn't be able to sell the game anywhere if I did decide I didn't like it. (Do places like Gamestop or Games XChange even take imports? I guess selling online would be an option.) I have considered the Vita TV though. I'd just have to back up all of my games to calm my fears.laurenhiya21 wrote:I'm also really sad that the Vita is on its way outI've really loved playing on my Vita TV so far... Picked up the Ico/Shadow of the Colossus collection and Oblivion GOTY yesterday. Ico is great, SotC I haven't played yet. Played Oblivion before, and this copy was cheap, so I figured, ehh, why not? I'm in luck too, the PS3 version doesn't have trophies, so I won't be hounding to collect everything in the game.

Re: Games Acquired 2016
I've never cared much for Digimon, the show or the games. A lot of my friends love it and were salivating over the recent game, but I've always detested it. Just a matter of preference, I suppose. I've heard that the new game is really good all around, though, so I may try it out if it ever gets cheapish used.

Those places probably won't take import trade-ins (GS definitely no, GXC maybe), but if it's a good game and possibly if it's not, but has English in it and it's physical exclusive, it'll sell or be easy enough to trade here. Lots of Vita fans want imports. Where are you located, anyways? If in the College Station area, I'm definitely one who'd trade for those games if I don't have them.Forlorn Drifter wrote:I've held off on picking up a Vita because of how few games that seem to catch my interest are released physically here. I had this on and off my wishlist, really wanting it but not needing it but now I'm definitely getting it. Had no idea the Wild Arms Devs made it!
Hopefully it pops up for around $30 then I'll snag it, I did notice Digimon games freaking keep their value tho (roughly $30-40) so maybe I'll grab it sooner than later. Lol
