Interesting concept. The 'switch' thing was pretty neat. Only been able to snag it a couple times...and really laid the whoop ass on the poor enemy. Of course it was only the 1st or 2nd stage...

Just a tip for people: you can select different versions of your ship. Not at the ship select screen, but at the start of each stage, when it counts down '3, 2, 1, Go!'. If you hold down the B button you get a faster/less powerful ship, if you hold down C, you get a slower/more powerful ship. Your ship will change colour depending on which button you press.

I would recommend just trying out the different ships to see which ones you prefer. The thing with checking out a high-scoring YouTube clip is that you then stick to the same ship and try and copy the strategy. The reason I picked this game is that it's just fun to try out all the different combinations. Plus, it's very short, so you can get through lots of credits in a short space of time (it's possible to 1CC the game in under 10 minutes).

So I finally got to this! Love it! Great pick. This year has so far brought more lesser known shmups to light and here's a great example.

- The B/C ship swap is useful. I preferred a more powerful ship to reduce the chances of fighting the rival's "super vehicles" as often.

- The "switch" C button subweapon will end a match FAST. More points too.

- You're not the only one with a lock-on attack, so stay out of range!
