Drakkhen

I advanced the plot only enough to allow my party to move from the Forest into the Swamp area(there are only four areas in the game), and then I went and grinded a bit. Drakkhen requires you have one of the four classes in your party, so my team is composed of a Super Cool Totally Radical Dude Fighter named Ack, a Slick and Most Excellent Scout named Fast, an Awesomely Powerful and Powerfully Awesome Sorcerer named Xen, and a Dinky Cleric named Noise, though I like to call him Binky for kicks.

My party is still wandering the forest pathways, avoiding the nastier super monsters and earning experience or finding better gear. By now my party has gained a level or two...except for Binky. He's still stuck at level 1. Drakkhen requires characters to hit the enemy to gain experience, with kills awarding much more. Since Binky is useless and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn...well, you get the idea. But that's ok. Every party needs a thumbsucker like Binky. So a quick special thanks to noise for being the party thumbsucker.

Planning on starting this tonight:

Trails of Nayuta | 2012 | PSP

From what I've been reading, Nayuta's kind of a hybridization of TLoH story telling and Ys action combat. Supposed to clock in around 20-25 hours, a JRPG length I can handle right now. Looking forward to something relaxing after all that Joint Assault rage from the last two nights.

I've been somewhat grinding especially after picking up Mozu(I think that's her name XD) just because she was another lvl 1 character when I got her >_< then picked up Hinoka(again) along with Azama and Hayato(who didn't seem all that worried that she'd managed to get stuck in quicksand.....

I think you mean you got Azama and Setsuna. Hayato is one of Takumi's retainers and is a dude. But yes, Setsuna doesn't sweat the small stuff, nor the large stuff.

Interesting pick! Let us know how it is. I have yet to grab this game, but I'm slowly working on getting all the Falcom imports.

TitS?

So playing PSO Blue Burst on the Ultima server. I have mixed opinions.

First off, the experience rate has been jacked up threefold which makes the game much more streamlined. I approve.

BUT THEN...... why in the holy mother of balls is this shit playing in the lobby? It's like nails on a chalkboard; I have to shut off the volume.

Worst of all, the original quests from the console games don't appear to be here. And the new quests SUCK. The first one I attempted had NPCs taking swipes at another server (what?!) and then culminated with a boss fight I was not warned about nor ready for. Oof.

I may switch to another sever.

Anyone try this?

Julian Smith has made some decent stuff, but this isn't on that list for me.

I did enjoy these two back in the day though:
