Seriously, I beat it over a couple of evenings. Once you get the hang of the bump mechanics, it's pretty much over and done.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Do it. It's like a six hours long.
What RPG are you playing right now?

So that's why Bone is a fan of the game.Ack wrote:Seriously, I beat it over a couple of evenings. Once you get the hang of the bump mechanics, it's pretty much over and done.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Do it. It's like a six hours long.

Wait, I thought it didn't have bump mechanics? Are you playing a different version?
Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
No, it has a minuscule sword swing...which is basically so short, it's bump mechanics.

I don't think that counts.
Anyway, I have the game. You might even say I bumped into it years ago. *ba dum tsh*

The controls are keyboard-y. You can defeat many enemies by running into them whilst mashing the attack button. So yeah, kinda bumpy-ish.

lol, I can easily see that. Love the gritty vibe that these two games had along with FF7. Cool 90's offices and urban environments!TechXRenAgadeX wrote:Parasite Eve....almost feels like a gigantic episode of the X-Files haha

Parasite Eve is awesomesauce. I'd love to get a new one in that style. The 3rd Birthday was a decent enough cover shooter, but the original game is easily my favorite.

Of the three PE games, I enjoyed 3rd Birthday the most, with PEII next, and PE third. Thing is, they are all pretty unique from each other in gameplay mechanics, which means all three are worth playing. The only common element really is the protagonist and overarching thematic concepts.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
