OK, I'm gonna wind down the votes for my next game, because...well, it is pretty much time. I'll take last minute shout outs, but so far here is what I've got:
Forgotten Realms: Demon Stone: 3 votes
Unepic: 2 votes
Drakkhen: 1 vote
Super Ninja Boy: 1 vote(my girlfriend)
Lichdom: Battle mage: 0 votes

If you're gonna play it with your girlfriend, then I highly recommend Super Ninja Boy. That game is tons of fun with another person.Ack wrote:OK, I'm gonna wind down the votes for my next game, because...well, it is pretty much time. As for my tally, the people have spoken! Started Riviera yesterday, and it's a lot of fun! Hard though :/

Re: The People's Choice Thread
I just thought I'd mention that Unepic has a co-op mode too:

I'm going to hit up Tactics Ogre: LUCT as my next JRPG, when I play a JRPG next. Gonna play another genre or two for a minute, 'cause I just beat a JRPG (Crimson Shroud).

Re: The People's Choice Thread
I've been finding some more time during my breaks at work and also recently found my GBA Micro charger... so with that in mind I'd like some help choosing which GBA RPG to play. I am not a hardcore RPG player by any stretch of the imagination and I'd prefer games that move along, maybe a little more action oriented and don't require crazy amounts of grinding. Here are some of my options.
Golden Sun
Tales of Phantasia
Mario and Luigi Super Star Saga
Lufia
Sword of Mana
Advance Wars 1 and 2

Re: The People's Choice Thread
I like Golden Sun, and I love both Advance Wars games. Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga is in a class by itself, however. It also fits your criteria perfectly, and I think you will love it.8bit wrote:Mario and Luigi Super Star Saga

Will agree, by your criteria, Mario & Luigi is the correct choice.
I also think Golden Sun is fantastic. The Lufia game is rather average (so disappointing after the greatness of Lufia II!), and I'd play Final Fantasy Adventure over Sword of Mana.

The GBA Lufia game is awful and should be skipped.Sarge wrote:Will agree, by your criteria, Mario & Luigi is the correct choice.
