Same here. The only flea market in Henderson makes me feel like I'm about to get mugged when I'm in there. Then again, it's in a less savory part of town.

I bought a copy of Doom 64 off eBay. Pictured showed the cart and manual only, and that's all the description said was included. I get something in the mail today and I can't quite figure out what it is. Some kind of box? So I open it up, and it's a Doom 64 box with a note that says, "Box is Free." Yes, the cart and manually are inside the box. The box isn't in the greatest shape (it's pretty poor from a collector's stand point) but free is free. I'll take it! Thank you, random eBay seller!

That's a rare individual. Most people would sell either complete or the box by itself as a "rare collectors box" with a bin of 100$. Greedy pigs

I was at Louisville Arcade Expo today, nothing too out of the ball park awesome for most, but I did find a pair of really fun Genesis games and a pair of classic LCD games as well I just had to get.

They're Phelios and Mystic Defender (GEN) and the LCDs are 1943(Acclaim) and Marble Madness(Tiger.) I'd be messing with them more now other than just the clean up and stuff but after 6 hours of beeps, bloops, knocks, loud music and the rest I can barely stand to stare at this screen as it is. :)

I will say 1943 is very fun but also quite hard. Marble Madness is more like the classic labyrinth wood marble game now, but still like the arcade title too and surprisingly fun with that weirdo circle 8way unique button setup Tiger made for it.

These are the things I got today! Went to Calexico's Santo Tomas fleamarket mid morning. I picked up some of the usual. I got some comicbooks for a dollar each and Alice in Wonderland dvd for $6.00. Not bad to start off. Then for $3.00 I got a generic FPS for XBOX Commandos Strike Force.Afterwards, I went through a bunch of some lady's toys and fished out what I'm pretty sure is an Earthworm Jim toy. For $1.50 I'll take it. Afterwards I got me two Atari 2600 games for $2.00 each. One is a 'Sears' game, I think I may have it already, but as an actual atari game. Now the other one for sure I dont have. Its a sega branded one! Buck Rogers. And as I was paying the lady, I spotted in her things a 251 gamecube memory card. And for $2.00, I'll take it as well. The last thing I got was Dead to Rights for PS2, for $2.50. It's replacing my disc only copy.

After doing some errands and making my way back to Mexicali I ended up near Tianguis Las Palmas. Its an indoor fleamarket. I was still quite a bit early there. Sellers were putting up their stuff. I walked around looking for the things we all love, when I came across a seller with a bunch of random electronics. I picked up all those things in the second picture. I found the genesis plug first. Then the LIttle Big Planet game, lastly I found that Nintendogs game. When I opened it up It had two more games in it! I quietly closed it up and took it to the guy. He calmly went thought the things and said $150. I'm sure he saw the extra games inside the Nintendogs case. But it looks like he didn't care. So $150 pesos it is! Or about $8.50 US. Score! I'm sure I would have gotten more things if I stayed longer, but I was still too early at the place and I still had to make it home. I guess I'll go another day!

Here’s what I got today at a fleamarket before work. It all came from one seller. He gives a preview on tuesday and moves the stuff to Las palmas on wednesday. That’s the better, once a week fleamarket. Fished them out before. I’m sure I would have gotten them tomorrow for a bit cheaper. Oh well. I got all of this for $15. I still left with him some wii and ps2 games, but they were a bit scratched up or common. DOA there is a bit scratched up too, but I already have it disc only and maybe I’ll do a swap? Those PS2 games were $3.00 each. I’m also a bit sad at the gameboy pocket. I would have loved for it to be complete. It’s missing its screen cover. And its such a nice color too. The screen is bad too. Looks like it fell and there’s a dark spot on the screen where the tint broke and spilled inside. But on a positive note it does have its battery cover. It was sold to me for $4.00. I’m sure I can figure something to do with it. And the lowly game left is Tony Hawks underground for GBA. that one was $2.00 Lets see what I get tomorrow at the wednesday fleamarket, before work! Maybe I’ll get lucky?

Dirt Cheap, comin' up big again. Managed to snag Lego: Jurassic World, NBA 2K16, and Assassin's Creed Syndicate for PS4 and Rayman Legends for Vita for $5 a pop. Now I just have to decide if I'm gonna flip any of them!

If the shell on that pocket is pretty clean without notable scratches or paint off on the edges the shell alone, the board, and the speaker within along with that battery cover made it worth it easily. You can always get a new screen and the lenses starwander has on ebay are very cheap so you can make it whole again where the price warrants it. Nothing better than a GBP if you want to do just B&W games.

Hey flojo, that gold gameboy color looks like a nice starting point for a backlight mod if you were so inclined. If not, it's easy enough to swap the shell of this gameboy color with another.

Yay me, Goodwill had a goodie for once, obscure and fun and only for around $2.50 too.

Sid Meier's Civilization Chronicles (seems to get like $40 on ebay all used but complete) so that's a nice thing. Not selling it though.

It has every version of Civilization PRE 5, and all the add-on packages over 8 discs. I still can't play CIV1 :( but CIV2 works in 64bit with a basic patch I applied and it's basically CIV1 with better visuals/audio is all. Also nice are the additions to it with all the tech maps for the 4 games on posters, a nice nearly 100 page book with some fun stuff in it, and there's a full CIV card game (still sealed too.)
