haha it's all good. Like what you like and I'll do the same. In fact the majority of what I watch would be considered "bad movies" by the ranks of Metacritic or Rotten Tomato haha. (Looking thru the Movies thread, the most recent things I've watched: The Lawnmower Man, Predators, 976-EVIL 2, Sydney White...)

But yeah, my wife and I re-watched both trilogies leading up to The Force Awakens in the past year. I enjoyed the first two more than I remembered. They weren't great, but they didn't bore me. But the third I actually thought was awesome. I mean, it could have stood on its own in place of a prequel trilogy - as that one movie feels like it tells you everything you needed to know about Anakin. Which I also felt did add something to Awakens if it's fresh in your mind going into it. Shrug.

Anyway, I've taken us off course.

Blue Burst is awesome. It's a very viable way to play PSO today with friends. And it has a lot more content than the original DC release, including Episode IV which was exclusive to PC.

I don't like episode I or episode II, but I agree that Revenge of the Sith is pretty awesome. (It is, IMO, better than Return of the Jedi.)

I used to quite like the prequel trilogy, but a rewatch confirmed to me that Revenge of the Sith is mediocre and Attack of the Clones is literally one of the worst things I've ever seen - the battle at the end is fun, but the entire movie up to that point is unbearable.

I actually found myself enjoying Phantom Menace well enough. Sure, it's irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, but as a standalone movie I think it's way better than II or III.

Also, controversial opinions time - I think Return of the Jedi is the best film in the original trilogy, and think Empire is a bit boring. Still better than the prequels by some way mind, but it's m least favourite of the 3.

1. Return of the Jedi
2. A New Hope
3. Force Awakens
4. Empire Strikes Back
5. Phantom Menace
6. Revenge of the Sith
7. Attack of the Clones

Also, apologies for jacking the thread. I will stop now. If people wish to dispute me or ridicule my opinions, send the PMs my way

One day, I will become a mod and will ban you all for this!

But seriously, if you can't beat them, join them...

1. The Empire Strikes Back (awesome!)
2. A New Hope (awesome!)
3. The Force Awakens (Rey is cute!)
4. Return of the Jedi (were they on crack when they made this mess?)
5. Revenge of the Sith (erm... the best prequel film by far, but still crap)
6. The Phantom Menace (ugh...)
7. Attack of the Clones (kill it with fire!!!)

I also re-watched them all last winter too. As someone who is more of a movie buff and not a SW nut... good lord they're even worse than most people give them credit for, with almost zero redeeming qualities. I think Revenge just might be the worst! Attack is more boring, for sure, but Revenge of the Sith strives for a stronger emotional story... and as such, it fails even harder than the other two movies. I like the original trilogy, but they're "just" really well-made space opera films. Worth a re-watch maybe every 5 years or so... anything else would be over-exposure. You can imagine how annoyed I was back in Nov-Dec when the Disney marketing machine utterly took over the internet.

Ahem! Keep up the good work Reprise. I'm jealous you're able to post away on a daily basis and I'm still doing... 2 per week.
