Intellivison confusion, please help
So I've had my Intelivision for a while, but the games weren't easy to get working and none of the ones I had seemed interesting enough to spend the time cleaning them, but today I finally did it. I tried all the games, and I couldn't understand one of them. I even had a poker overlay and that didn't help at all. Does anyone know where I can find the instructions for Intelivision games?
Re: Intellivison confusion, please help
I grew up with the intellivision and compared to systems today you have to invest a lot more patience in the intellivision
. Poker is a great game that we had family tournaments with!
My favorite games were
Dungeons and Dragons
Advanced Dungeons and Dragons
Horse Racing
Tron
Tron Deadly Discs (This one is awesone!)
Congo Bongo
Hard Hat Harry
Utopia
Beauty and The Beast
He-Man
(Not sure of the name anymore but it had a guy walking through snow and avoiding caribou (or axing them
) then you move on to a river with icebergs and you have to use a hook to make an ice bridge and then cross to a castle)
It's a great system if you can just forget about the newer games (even NES) for the time you play it.

First, what is up with the Harry Potter stuff that you are posting all over?
Second.. My Intellivision is having video output problems. I used to be able to wiggle the wire and get the output clear enough to play. Today it was so messed up that it was hard to even get it to produce any colors. I took the system apart, it seems like the shield on the inside is soldered shut. anyone have any advice?

I'm sure some of the games are good, but the point is that I can't understand them, there are just too many buttons on the controller, and the only game I have a controller overlay for is Las Vegas Poker and Blackjack.
I also have a Atari 2600 so I'm used to the graphics quality, but the Atari controller only has one button so it is much easier to learn the games.
@superlarz, it must be a spam bot, in between the Harry Potter stuff is talk of WoW gold.
Re: Intellivison confusion, please help
There is a website that have scans of the overlays and instruction manuals. They would have everything you need to play the game. I dont have the link handy, but if i find the site i will post it here

Re: Intellivison confusion, please help
Well, I found out why I can't figure out any of the games, controller 1 doesn't work, at all. Well this sucks, I hope my local store can repair it. I got the system for only a few dollars and it will probably be about 20 to repair.

Sorry, I read wrong. The best place for the real overlays is Ebay
Here are some good games with overlays

Thats cool, but I don't think I will be buying any games until I get it fixed.

Yeah, That would be the smart thing. I posted all of that while you were posting the "it's broken" post, So it was a little useless after the fact
