To answer my own question and risk 10 bucks, I tried it and it works! Thank you Sony!!

If it's a PSP game don't they all work on PSTV?

I haven't tried any but Gran Turismo to be fair but I was under the impression that it was only Vita games that needed to be on the whitelist and all that bullshit.

I don't follow as well but I swear I recall any digital download meant for PSP will work, just like much of the others will for PSN in general if they're not like specific to needing a required feature or platform to work (like a camera, touch, ps4,etc.)

I swear one of these days I'll get one of these systems again. There's plenty enough games and the after market doesn't value them too highly either which makes things helpful. I keep seeing them posted on craigslist, but I don't much care to pay like $120-150 for a used one, seems stupid when you can get a new one on amazon for $170. Last year I was seeing them down around $90-100 locally, not sure what happened with that.

Nope. Some PSP games (notably, Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles) do not work on PSTV without a hack.

Wow that's some serious buplop.

So I'm thinking of getting Digimonstory Cyber Sleuth (what a name) and I'm curious if anybody knows whether theres a difference between the Asian English version and the standard NA release. The Asian version has a physical copy which I'd much prefer to have ya know.

Yeah it burns my ass that we didn't get a physical Vita release of Cyber Sleuth in USA. I'm probably going to import the Asia version with English subtitles. Don't know if it's really worth $40 though.

I just got a PS Vita. I haven't read through the posts here.

Actually, I just wanna rant. I payed far from full price and I still feel burned. I'll rant a bit, then spend a day reading about the various hacks then I'll mod the pos.

#1 ! Why can't I play any Pac-Man game except Pac-Man World?
I've bought almost every Pac-Man game for every console I've ever owned - there's tons of them for every system. It's like a break-in ritual for me. I do it on every new system even if it wasn't supposed to be able to play video games - like digital cameras and programmable calculators. All of a sudden I can't play the one game I want to on Sony's new flagship newest best most powerful portable? The guys in Europe got the PS Mini Pacman CE, but I'm cut-off... Why? This system was built for Pac-Man CE!

Also, Space Invader Extreme. No Space Invaders on this console either?

The top EXT Port was supposed to output video like my PSPs do, but despite the hardware being there it's a useless port because last minute they disabled the ability so they could consolize the system? Now I gotta make my own cable and hack the firmware to re-enable that basic function. Meh, if that's what it takes - I'm certainly not gonna buy the Vita PS TV pile of whatever... I already have a stack of media center boxes that aren't quite up-to-snuff. Most of them can play Pac-Man, tho it's difficult to control on a remote.

I legally own Tokyo Jungle Mobile for Playstation Mobile. I bought it on the last day with Playstation Mobile hacked into my rooted Samsung phone (that Xperia phone-like-thing was kinda meh, and wasn't available in Canada). Now it looks like I'll have to hack my Vita pretty extensively to transfer the unlock registration data into this thing.

I still haven't looked much into the PS3 -> PSV video mirroring. Can I actually play Shadow of the Colossus Remastered on this thing? Early details I read of this feature say most-likely "no". At least I'm pretty sure I cannot stream Pac-Man from my PS3 to this. If I'm wrong, then my whole rant loses a lot of steam and I'm happy (unless there's a lot of lag).

Minor thing, but there's so much more Rorita stuff made for it vs. legit other genres that it's kinda...

In any case, I bought it because the release of Axiom Verge is Imminent!

If for no other reason than AV, this system is pretty cool.

When I've tired of it, my niece can have it to play Minecraft, Crunchyroll and Project Diva.

So, uh, am I wrong on any points? I really do want to like this console and would like someone to correct my misunderstanding of some major perceived flaws.

Edit: Burn!

Yeah kinda want to import it, kinda stupid to only get digital with psv. I know they don't want to chance a physical flopping badly but come on this america we're talking about we'd have bought it if we'd known about it, heck that might make even more people buy one!

Well, I decided to just buy the English subtitled physical Vita version off Play-Asia:
