Do you like the rain?

It's started raining around here and I always love the rain. Its just so beautiful, and its great to fall asleep to. I live in a place up in the hills of Cali near the bay, so we get some awesome fog that looks cool rolling down the hills. Plus, everything turns to a shade of blue, which looks really cool cuz of all the plants around here. My favorite thing that I like has to be how active it seems. Most people don't think of winter as being a very "active" time for nature, considering all the plants and animals are hibernatin' (well most are anyways), but if you take the time to watch and listen, you can really see how much life the rain gives to your environment.

That and if your cold, you can easily get warmer by wearing more clothes, unlike summer where you pretty much have to bear the heat >_<

Anyone else lovin the weather?

I like it as long as I don't have to walk in it without an umbrella.
I agree that the sounds is soothing.

My wife doesn't quite agree with me.

Indeed, I do love the rain. I enjoy going out when it rains. The soothing sounds of water hitting the ground, the rain pounding on you, I feel, also is soothing. when a car goes zooming down the street, the sound of the wheels shredding the water that runs through like a miniature river. Rain is my favorite weather type.

I agree with the sentiments above and I want to add that rain is great because it makes you want to stay inside. I love staying inside on a rainy day doing whatever I want at home.

Crazy shit. It was raining today while it the sun was shining. Looked really weird.

yup, that actually happens quite a lot. ive noticed the same phenomenon couple of times.
