Narrow Margin (top) and Capricorn One

A back-to-back Peter Hyams session, both incidentally featuring Caulfields as protagnists  Highly watchable, not without logic or continuity faults but good entertainment.

I saw the new Ghostbusters preview last night. The movie looks no better and no worse than any other mass market release. Why are some of you so upset about it?

Not going to mince words, we were promised a sequel but since I don't follow the film scene I don't know how we ended up with an all-woman Ghostbusting team (with a stereotypical 'hood woman), all mediocre actresses by the way, essentially shitting on a franchise loved by many. Now if this had been a spin-off it would have been a different story, but what they've done is replace the original team by women to further a certain agenda. Hollywood has always been furthering agendas since its inception, going back to the original diamond craze if not farther before (and in the noughties they exposed how bad the African diamond trade had been, essentially going full circle.)

Typical Tarantino, typically entertaining-if-a-tad-disturbing to watch. I hope he returns to a modern setting for his next one. I still think he's overrated but his formula works for me.

What a "strange" little film haha, and the score doesn't fit most of the movie. Also, w\y is everyone smoking all the time in every scene?

OK. I was just confirming that it was because the team in the movie is comprised solely of women. Thanks!

Confirm all you like, us "haters" will keep on hatin' You know the funny thing, I don't recall anyone ever "hating on" Sarah Connor (the original, and even the TV one), or Game of Thrones's female characters, or Ripley from Alien, or TWD's Michonne (before the interracial thing anyway, it's an American thing I guess) or many other leading woman roles, so take that accusatory tone and do something better with it.

To be honest many wouldn't have liked a reboot anyway, because Hollywood can't do that well most of the time.
