Only play Dokapon Kingdom with a spouse if you need grounds for divorce. Seriously, if I were a judge, I'd accept "Played Dokapon Kingdom" as a perfectly legitimate reason for divorce. That game will ruin your relationships and rot your soul all at once.

Yes and ten times funner.Markies wrote:It's 10 times worse than Mario Party.
I've beaten the 20+ hour campaign mode of Dokapon Kingdom two times over, with different people each time. Always three human players and one computer player.
The first set of people I beat the game with were both assbasket gamers who desperately wanted to win and couldn't stand to lose. Because they were so adamant about not losing, I just went out of my way to troll the hell out of them. I distinctly remember one of them was fighting the last boss, and I cast a freeze spell on them while they were in the middle of that battle. I cast this spell from the other side of the map, and it hit dead on. Froze the person I hit and the boss beat them into oblivion. The anger was GLORIOUS. The other person I drove crazy by constantly renaming their character stuff like "Ms. Pooplicker" or "McSlut Deluxe". You have to understand they were also tormenting me, so it's all fair.
The second set of people I beat the game with were much more mellow. We focused on ruining the life of the computer player for the most part. We all tried to play the game co-op, but Dokapon Kingdom will NOT let you play it co-op. I swear the game can tell when you're trying to work together, and then focuses on instigating fights between its players with a grudge.
If you can find the right people, Dokapon Kingdom is the greatest local multiplayer game ever made. I had a tremendous amount of fun with it beating it both times, with so many tears of laughter and rage.
