Wii-U thoughts so far

We've been digging Wii Fit U. We both have fit meters. One comes with the game, bought another cheap. Lots of good trackers to keep you active and a lot of content to keep you entertained.

It's s good month for Wii U. I'm equally excited for Pokken, Twilight Prince HD, Nintendo Selects, and what have you.

What's cool about Child of Light?

(1) It's a really fun RPG with outstanding art direction.

(2) It has a fantastic battle system.

(3) It is only $3.75 in the eShop right now!

Child of Light is good stuff, no question. I hate that the Wii U version misses out on a little bit of DLC, but I also don't think it adds to the game considerably, so... don't sweat it.

My only recommendation that I'd make after the fact is probably bump up the difficulty a bit, I breezed through it without using most of my items. If I ever replay, I'm definitely going for the harder difficulties.

Anyway, the battle system is basically Grandia. Exploration is tons of fun, too.

What's cool about Child of Light?

I forgot about the Nintendo Selects, Tropical Freeze and NES Remix for me, so even more fun and money spent this month. There isn't much on the calendar after this though. We've got Star Fox Zero scheduled for April and Mario & Sonic on the radar but that's about it as far as I know.

Can anyone recommend Cloudberry Kingdom? Priced at $2.50 it'd be worth grabbing if it's a good game.

It is a procedurally generated platform game. I haven't played through it yet, but I have enjoyed my time with it. $2.50 is hard to beat.

Good lord Wii Fit U. We need a Racketboy Gym. There's lots of fun mini games that turn into a competition. Hose down is a personal favorite

There is a new Nintendo Direct to talk about spring/summer games tomorrow at 4 cst.

Also I'm trying Wii Fit U soon. It sounds like a blast to play.

Not sure why but there's a rumor flying they'll add for NEW 3DS users SNES games to the eshop. I find that an interesting bit if it's true, but seems easily not considering they'd be cutting out normal 3DS people which they seem only to really care about due to the largely robust amount of vapor based New3DS titles out there on a card.

Binding of Isaac Rebirth on eShop is New 3DS only. There have also been games that perform better on 3DS such as Code Name STEAM and the upcoming Hyrule Warriors Legends (which is apparently significantly better on New 3DS).

It's still not a huge amount though.
