Ark: Survival Evolved

So I've got two questions here. First, does anyone here have this game on PC? Second, for those who do, are yall experiencing the same extreme optimization issues I am? I'm running a GeForce 980, and even on high (as opposed to ultra), my fps hovers between 30 and 40. On ultra, it wavers between 15 and 30 most of the time. I know that they "recommend" a Titan GPU for ultra, but from what I've read, the performance difference between those two cards isn't enormous - certainly not by a degree that I would expect it to double my fps.

In fairness, it's still in Early Access until June, so I'm hoping they'll fix the optimization by then, but I'm just curious if anyone else is experience that.

Yeah, I had to crank the video settings down to get a decent frame rate. It's the only game I have that is mostly unplayable at max graphics settings.
