I did OK.

I don't know that Ill go to MAGFest every year, but I did have fun. I met up with a bunch of people from the Backloggery, the only other site where I'm this active. There were about 25 of us backloggers there, and it was my first time meeting up with them all.

I tried to pick up US and Japanese games that didn't get a PAL release, but I screwed up a little with Life Force. In thought it hadn't had a EU release, but apparently it did. No big loss, it's still awesome. Metal Slug 1st Mission had a PAL release too, but the price was decent and I got a discount on DK GB for buying 2 games at once, so I went for it anyway.

Well, I obviously have the other problem. I own nine PAL territory releases that I can think of: Terranigma, Metal Gear Solid (GBC), Bionic Commando (GB), Konami GB Collection Vol. 3, The Dig, Full Throttle, Another Code: R, Xenoblade, and Pandora's Tower.

Of course, only three of those are actually PAL-exclusive.

I forgot a clicked on something I noticed at the last minute last week for $10 shipped on ebay I've wanted to get back. It was a nice surprise to see a CIB copy of The Tower SP for GBA in the mail box today.

I used to play the crap out of Sim Tower for Windows 95 in the day, it never liked XP or anything since which is a shame, so when that popped up back in the GBA era I had to have it and it has been a long time since I've seen it. It's such a well made conversion of the old classic and often flies under the radar as it wasn't a big or published loudly release that just faded away.

I grabbed a copy of 50 Cent Bulletproof (Xbox) this morning. It was $1.

I am now thinking that I should collect all videogames that feature rappers and are outside of the music/rhythm and sports genres. (There can't be that many, right?) I think that they are:

50 Cent Blood on the Sand
50 Cent Bulletproof
Def Jam Fight for New York
Def Jam Icon
Def Jam Vendetta
Rap Jam Vol. 1
Wu Tang Shaolin Style

Am I missing any? (I think I only need two games to complete this fun little collection.)

I bought Indiana Jones: Fate of Atlantis on GOG last night. Figured $1.50 was a pretty good deal, and I've always wanted to play it.

Yeah both Backyard Wrestling games feature the Insane Clown Posse. There is also a version of the first one with a pretty good bonus disc if you can find it.

Bonuses are three BYW matches, 7 music videos, some commentary/interviews, and a few sneak peaks for other games... as well as some softcore porn on the title menu  .
