So what have you guys been watching lately?

I'm about halfway through the 2nd season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (OG series) right now. The first few episodes of this season were meh. I didn't like the stupid Eye Of Sarnath story. But now we're on to some good stuff like Baxter finally turning into a fly, or those ridiculous Punk Frogs.

Yes. Some does and some doesn't. It is of course kid friendly and strays from the comics a lot. It is fun though.

Hmmmmm, could be fun to watch that. TMNT was the first series I was really into before Batman came along. Is it the original series that's 10 seasons long? They look cheap as heck on Amazon haha, not bad.

the first season is really good, I think. Thought it's basically a mini-series with one story arc.

The last two seasons get darker. Those are the "red sky" episodes.

But it's fun watching this series over again from the beginning and seeing how it develops.

I think as an adult I enjoy the 3rd series best (or 2nd animated series) - the one from the early 2000's. It is darker, more serious and draws far more inspiration from the Mirage comics.

But yeah the OG series is pretty cheap. I have seasons 1-3 right now, and each ran me less than $10.

Been running through X-Files, to get caught up. Good stuff actually, although I was a wee lad when they were running, so I never really watched it.

Bloodline is great. Netflix is really nailing it with these originals.

I just read that they're not bringing Stana Katic back for the next season of Castle. You know, the co-star of the show. :(

Wait, what?

You better post a source. Because if that's true it also points to one or two possible massive downer endings for the current season.
