I don't see what you don't understand.

In my post I conceded you could find those games pretty easily on Amazon.

But walk into a store, and you'll be hard pressed to find copies.

This is relevant to me because I have a $200 GameStop gift card.

Man, I'm beyond tired of game culture's brand of tribalism poisoning the wells of every single topic in existence.

Point out conflitcs of interest in game journalism? Gamergater! Think a game mechanic is poor? Elitist gatekeeper! Think censorship is wrong? You must hate women! And you better not say anything about indies or you are a Halo-loving, doxxing 13 year old.

Meh :/

You mean you're not an elitist woman-hating, Halo-loving, doxxing gatekeeper Gamergater 13 year old? I thought everybody on the Internet was.

Well then you're fucking weird, mate.

Hey, that's unfair. Some people in the internet are furries, angry feminists or simply worry about their unwanted pregnancies on Yahoo Questions.

It was a Shih Tzu.

I want a PC again. My newest PC is at least 5 years old (I think more like 6-7) and my "primary" PC has gotta be a decade old (hell it's still single core). The new one was a small/low-power build for a MAME machine that never materialized.

Question for those in the know: Has WINE matured enough that it's reasonable to build a gaming Linux build? I ask because part of me kinda wants to have a legit system using only free software. I figure, I'm in my mid 30's, I'm old enough now to not pirate anymore... but at the same time I just don't want to buy Windows, not when I can do almost literally the same thing with free software.

Followup for those in the know: I need to piece together something off Newegg. Halp.

is it just going to be for gaming? Maybe there'd be merit in going the SteamOS route?

If you're planning to build some kinda Steambox... I probably have some parts I can spare.

And I can definitely help (or halp) you plan a build based on your budget. Hit me up.
