I decided to play all the good Castlevanias
Re: I decided to play all the good Castlevanias
In SOTN I much preferred the Crissaegrim chainsaw from the Schmoo once I'm far enough into the game. That thing...that is a hoss.

LOL, you pretty much become invincible with it and can ignore sub weapons.

Maybe I'll look for some better weapons before fighting this dude then. The short sword and throwing knife combo and a pos leather shield was making me bang my head against the wall.

Granfaloon and Beelzebub were both second castle. Thus my first castle statementZiggy587 wrote:I use holy water for every boss, with the exception of The Granfaloon and Beelzebub. Re: I decided to play all the good Castlevanias
This week I've been unable to get anywhere with Castlevania IV in my game cave, so I began Symphony of the Night on the PSP.
WOW. This gives me next-gen shivers after playing SNES and PC Engine. The animation is so lush and fun to watch, like if Metal Slug were more serious and less toony. The music could be in a Hollywood movie and I wouldn't bat an eye.
The only odd thing is the game seems short. I'm only an hour into it and my progress says 25% complete.

You're being trolled by the game. SotN averages 10 hours to finish, but only if you figure out a really cool secret to reveal the whole game. But I won't spoil it for you.Anayo wrote:I'm only an hour into it and my progress says 25% complete.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.
Re: I decided to play all the good Castlevanias
Oohhh now you got me even more excited.

It's been talked about for so long, that I'm surprised that it hasn't been spoiled for everyone by now. Anayo, you're gonna love it.
