Just got my $220 PS4 and $48 2DS in from the Cowboom daily deal the other day 2DS was new in box and the PS4 seems to be new as well although it was missing the outer box as well as the headset and manual, but that's no biggie.
Also got Sorcery Saga Curse of the Great Curry God Limited Edition(Vita) in the mail from Amazon regretted passing up on it about a month back so i decided to jump on it once I saw it had dropped down again. Think that's the last of my outstanding orders outside of one from Bandai which should be here in a few days. Going to try and stay away from buying anything else till I find a house .
Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God Limited Edition has dropped even further to $19.87 for anyone who is interested.
Elkin sold me a N3DS XL a while back so I'm mainly sticking to it, but I'm going to use the 2DS as a back up for travel. Also just liked the idea of the 2DS and thought it would be cool to have one need to grab a case for it though to protect that screen.

I, personally, hate the concept of the 2DS - it doesn't fold, it doesn't play 3D, there's no "New" version of it - but I have to admit that it was a good business move to make a cheaper version, and I'm glad they did it to boost sales of the 3DS.
For travel the 2DS is more robust than the 3DS, definitely. Yeah 2DS doesn't have 3D, but playing JRPGs or SRPGs for hours with 3D enabled becomes very taxing for my eyes. So I tend to play SRPGs/JRPGs on my 2DS, and use the 3DS XL for the shorter action oriented stuff.

I seem to be one of the few people I know who doesn't get a headache/eye strain from the 3D. Unless I already have a headache, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I guess I'm just weird in a lucky way?

Well your eyes are a lot younger than mine, Elkin-chan.
To keep the thread on point, I just nabbed a copy of Project X Zone 2. I still haven't played the first one. I don't care!

This is true, Exhuminator-senpai.
Project X Zone is great. I have the 2nd one, but I haven't played it yet (got delivered the same day as Fire Emblem). It's been a LONG time since I played the first one, so I don't remember a thing about the story except that it made no sense anyway, but with a crossover SRPG that massive, who even cares? You can have Mega Man fighting along side Chris Redfield. That's dank af.
