Hey guys, can you tell me what i have found here?

Post by Chickensuit »

Well, i was out looking for deals today, and i stopped in at a large flea mall.
In this old dusty cabinet way in the back, literally buried under tons of dusty junk, was a bunch of arcade stuff. It peaked my interest as soon a i saw snk on the label (it was in with vhs tapes:). There were several mvs cartridges, boxes and artwork. All labeled 10 each(everything in the place 25% off so actually 7.50). So i bought them all. Not sure why, since i don't have a neo geo cabinet.
But i mean it was quite unusual to see something like that in a place that generally is filled only with lots and lots of worthless junk.

So i bought four neo geo mvs games for 30 dollars. Art of fighting 1 and 2, Viewpoint, and 3 Count Bout and i also got all the artwork, dipswitch paperwork and stickers for samarai showdown2 (but no cart).

Anyways, what do you guys think? Good deal? and what in the world should i do with them...lol, i don't see myself investing in an aes and adapter anytime soon:_) (little out of my budget right now)
Here are some images.

Great find Viewpoint is worth $120-$150 depending on the time of the Neo Geo Season

Any other game titles you can remember?

Samurai Shodown 2 is a classic

Actually, there were several more boxes like these, but sadly they were empty. There was an envelope with detailed circuit board layout for cruisin usa, and a large arcade board in a big antistatic bag. I couldn't figure out what the game was though. It was not written on it, at least i couldnt tell, but it was a konomi board (i cant remember the date)...
That was all. I can go back for the konami board and get it for 7.50 tomorrow, if its worth something...

Lucky!!

I have to pay through the nose to get just MVS games in this country. Since nobody outside of the very small hardcore NG community has even heard of the system at all.

Another NC head!? What flea was it? It's always fun to find good shit for next to nothing from bobo that does not know (or care). Let us know about the Konami board, might be a 4-player beat'em up!
