Series of articles idea – need input

I think with Nesticle, it's the name recognition. When I first started emulating, it was the tool of choice in 1997. Now, maybe not so much. I mean, it's hard to take it seriously, and I hate the icon, but...well, I've been around it a lot.

What about NesterJ? Would there eventually be something for that?

I like Nester quite a bit - it has been solid on ip multiplayer for me. Ok we will just do it this way: Who thinks we should drop the old standby Nesticle for the more modern Nester?

What about JNES? Also, why are you picking 3 emus? I don't know how GameEx does things, but wouldn't it be a little overkill to have three emulators for the same platform?

Ive never used gameex, or really any frontends, I dont mind seeing my desktop between games. However I know that people are picky on what emulators they will use, even if they all do the same thing. And while most NES emulators run all games fine, which is not the case with other systems as we all know, I might aswell keep in the family and do more than one for it to. However, duplicate guides are much lower on the priority list.

I've used Maximus Arcade. Having a front end just makes things faster and looks nicer.

However I know that people are picky on what emulators they will use, even if they all do the same thing.

Maybe have a "Recommended Emulators" list for each platform? Maybe have a short list of pros and cons for each emu?

Apparently this is the best/most completely working version ever released. I have about 6 other versions sitting in a back corner of my harddrive somewhere.
