Yes,that's a really good deal.A store around me sells DCs for $35 alone. Those games you got with it would cost more than $30 all together separately(I'm guessing).
Systems: Sega Dreamcast(x2), Sega Genesis(x2), Sega Saturn, Sega CD, Genmobile (portable Genesis), FC Twin, PSX, PS2(x2), GBA, SP, Xbox 360, N64, Showcase Arcade
Re: Did I get a decent deal?
yea thats a good deal, only problem is your dreamcast (i think) is one of the last versions so it wont be able to play backups without modding it. not sure if thats important to you or not but it was one of the main reasons I bought one
Re: Did I get a decent deal?
The sega sports edition dreamcast CERTAINLY DOES play back ups. That's what I own, that's what I play on. I own very few pressed discs.
Finding one with the matching controller is the big deal. Most dc's I've found have been separated from their original components. I do not have the matching controller and getting them separately is expensive.
You didn't get a blow out deal, but you paid a fair price. It's not like the sports edition comes along everyday.

Re: Did I get a decent deal?
I think you got an ok deal. If it is your first dreamcast, you will certainly get many multiples of $51 of entertainment out of it. If you had shopped around online, you may have gotten a better deal, however you definitely did not get ripped of.

It's my 2nd DC. Always wanted to get the black edition and so when I saw this auction together with the games, I decided to bid on it.
Just a side note- Any of you guys in the States ever heard of a place called Sautee Nacoochee? I only just now paid attention to the exact location of the seller and I've never heard of this place before. lol

At my local store the Sega Sports Dreamcast was 40 or 50 dollars.
