What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

That's really terrible. Even a bad movie can be good if it simply delivers what it promises. For instance, the film "Zombies on a Plane" isn't a good movie by any stretch of the imagination, but it delivers on the titular promise.

To call a movie, "Jackie Chan - Kung FU Master" They should be required to have at least one Kung Fu fight scene starring Jackie Chan.

I once bought a movie staring "Charles Bronson". Failed to read on the back that it was the "Charles Bronson" of Asia I forget what his actual name was  . Guy could have been a body double for Bronson, but he couldn't act worth a damn.

Brucesploitation is one of the greatest 'sploitations.

I watched a movie titled "Bronson" not too long ago that starred Tom Hardy as a kind of deranged street brawler who adopts the stage name Charles Bronson.

Everyone must watch the Clones of Bruce Lee:

I love the fact that none of Bruce Lee's many, many clones actually look anything like him. (My favorite Brucesploitation film, BTW is My Name Called Bruce. It is a boring, terrible move, but you really can't beat that title. Also, my four-year-old referred to himself using similar syntax for a while, and it never failed to crack me up.)

.....

Last night, my wife and I watched Donald Trump's The Art of the Deal: The Movie. It is a fake made-for-TV movie from the 1980s based on Donald Trump's biography, starring Johnny Depp, Alfred Molina, Patton Oswalt, Andy Richter, and Ron Howard (with cameos from Spuds McKenzie, the Fat Boys, and Alf(!)). It is very funny, and it even has a theme song performed by the man himself...Kenny Loggins. Perhaps best of all, it is currently streaming for free on Funny or Die's website. I highly recommend it.

Really, Prfsnl? Better than Bruce Lee Fights Back from the Grave?

Image

It stars Bruce K.L. Lea.

But the greatest idea for a Bruceploitation ever has got to be...

Image

The Dragon Lives Again

In which Bruce Leung Siu-lung plays Bruce Lee, who dies and goes to Hell. In Hell, Lee meets the King of the Underworld and befriends Kwai Chang Caine(from the TV show Kung Fu), Fang Kang(from One-Armed Swordsman), and Popeye the Sailor Man. They then team together to form a martial arts school for the dead while also battling an underworld mafia run by Dracula, James Bond, Zatoichi, Clint Eastwood, The Godfather, The Exorcist, and Emmanuelle. Also Chinese folk hero Zhong Kui shows up and makes demons fight Bruce. Truth.

How boring and terrible is it? My name called Bruce is really boring and really terrible, and the only thing I like about it is the title (and the fact it star someone who looks absolutely nothing like Bruce Lee). IMO, New Fist of Fury is the "best" Brucesploitation film. (None of them are really that great...)

Actually, this one is my favorite:

No Retreat, No Surrender is one of JCVD's earliest roles, and it is more than a little rough. Also, the plot in that trailer is total crap. The plot points it calls out are hardly mentioned in the film. A third of this movie is a massive training montage. Oh, and it is one of those movies where a character says the name of the film during the trailer. You know, like Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot.

Oh...and then there is this part...

I fucking love this stupid ass movie. Also, the fight choreography is actually quite good.
