What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Yeah, it's an accent thing around here. Black, white, hispanic - most pronounce it that way.

Better curb your enthusiasm Ubisoft launches are usually pretty bad. Especially PC version if that's the route your going.

:x : So when the hell did we start having to need customs forms to ship to APO/FPO. Seriously do we really need to jump through additional hoops to send shit to our troops now?

To make matters even better in order to get to the form that eBay says is required I have to go through 4 pages of inputing stuff on USPS. However it refuses to let me past the first page saying a customs form is not required. Yet they don't freaking have the requirements posted anywhere on the site for this shit  . Going into the post office anyways so I guess I'll double check, but this is stupid as hell.

It would be the United States government if they didn't make everything needlessly complicated and 80% red tape.

 Christopher Rush, one of the original MTG artists passed away yesterday. He is best known for the iconic Black Lotus and original Lightning Bolt, as well as the designer of the mana symbols.

I was fortunate enough to meet with him at a GP tournament event last year and bought some signed playmats and mouse pads. He looked frail, and I am guessing he was fighting some sort of cancer and was going to events to help get some money for medical expenses. Had to pleasure to chat briefly with him, and glad I picked up those items, he was very friendly. I have enjoyed his artwork since I was a kid when I first played Magic. Sad news.

After researching online all merchandise going to an FPO/APO needs customs forms. It's just the dumb ass USPS form finding search sucks balls and you can't print out a blank form online as far as I can tell without going through it  .

Damn, Jmustang. I started playing MTG in Beta and quit around Weatherlight. For me, Christopher Rush's artwork WAS Magic. His Goblin Grenade, his Manabarbs, Necrite, Rashka the Slayer, Lightning Bolt, and Yotian Soldier...that was how I saw the game. That's a terrible loss.

Well good luck at least they seem to have a better track record on consoles. I preordered Far Cry 3 and later Watch Dogs and vowed to never do it again :P. Far Cry 3 at least had a playable SP for the most part aside from me eventually having a mine permanently clip to my arm due to a glitched animation which was visually annoying. However the MP was broken co-op games would crash almost every round and MP match making was broken.

Watchdogs on the other hand was just completely broken. You could barely drive vehicles(game would randomly freeze up then launch you across the screen to catch up :P), the game was poorly optimized so it ran like molasses, and MP was pretty much none existent due to yet another broken match making system.
