Little known fact, Baffle ball was made by Gottlieb as an early Bagatelle machine. It sold so well that it was hard to stock. So one of Gottliebs distributors, Ray Moloney, decided to make his own Bagatelle and called it Ballyho. He founded his own company called Bally. It went on to make a couple lesser known pinball machines:

Are the Mob ties the mustard lace? I would have guessed those would be marinara lace.Ack wrote:Good ole' Bally and its mob ties.fastbilly1 wrote:Little known fact, Baffle ball was made by Gottlieb as an early Bagatelle machine. Apparently in the late 1960s and 1970s the head of the Genovese crime family owned shares in Bally after they went public. Several "representatives" of Bally who visited Australia at the time to expand its business interests were also mob enforcers from Chicago.
