PSP/PS Vita Memory
So the next thing I buy when I get out of debt (so, like, fucking May) is going to be new memory cards for my PSP and my PS Vita. My question is what capacity is big enough? I'm probably going to go with a 32 GB for my PSP since I've got CFW and want to have space for translated Japanese ISOs, but I'm torn with the Vita since the memory is so much more expensive. I've seen 64 GB cards, but they're like $100. Is there a cheap place to get memory that I haven't found yet? What capacity do you guys suggest?

Re: PSP/PS Vita Memory
I use a CR-5400 with two Sandisk 32GB Ultra Micro SDs, giving the PSP 64 gigabytes of storage. Be careful buying CR-5400s because it's easy to buy a fake.

I use that method on both my PSP1000s using CFW 6.60 PRO-C.
This method is for PSP only. It won't work for the Vita.
From what I've seen, when it comes to Vita memory cards, you just have to take it hard and dry.

Shit bro! I never even knew that was a thing. I'm TOTALLY doing that. As always, Exhuminator-senpai comes to my rescue with Sony handheld issues.

Yeah the CR-5400 is ideal.
I've heard you can use two 64gb microSDs in them even, giving the PSP 128gbs of storage space. I haven't tried that myself yet though.

Re: PSP/PS Vita Memory
Just forewarning, 64GB Vita cards seem to have a super high failure rate.
Older. Not wiser.
Re: PSP/PS Vita Memory
If you plan on downloading a bunch of games on the Vita 32gb is minimum I'd recommend. I haven't splurged on a 64gb but I need it. Lol
Physical Vita cards don't take up too much space since most is on the game cards themselves.
I have roughly 1.2 gb left on my 32 card and here's my breakdown of content.
PS Vita games-7 games (1 digital) around 2 gb
PSP-16 games 11 gb
PS1-43 games 17gb
PS Mobile-8 games 178 mb
Then you have to take into account updates & saves as well as particular sizes of games. If you have a list of what you want check their sizes on PSN add it up and go from there.

Re: PSP/PS Vita Memory
I always get physical games when I can, and I don't buy too many games digitally. I guess I'm just paranoid. =P I'll probably go with a 32 GB. I'll see how much space I have taken up on my 8 GB when I get home. I don't need a new Vita card yet, but I know that I'll want more than 8 GB, and I want another so I can put that one in my PS TV (so far, I've just been move the memory card between the two, and it's a pain in the ass since it always screws up my icon layout).

Re: PSP/PS Vita Memory
32gb should be more than fine then with physical, I had near 200 games on one before I abandoned being a completists for the system. Make sure you put the games into a folder cause I believe you run out of pages with 100 icons.
