Fragems wrote:A pretty good Cyber Punk show that started recently is Dimension W. I just started it the other day seems pretty solid so far though. It's a lot more upbeat then your average cyber punk show, but still features the staple androids/cyborgs, mega corp bad guys, a conspiracy surrounding advanced energy/tech, future setting, and etc. The main character kind of feels like something you would expect from Samurai Champloo though lol.

Was I supposed to laugh at the lolis line at the end?

World looks cool, reminds me of Alita.

Really I think the trailers were pretty lame that was the better of the two :P. The show itself is alot better. It is up for free legit streaming at hulu if you want to check it out.

So on January 1 of this year, I started watching One Piece. I plan on keeping a pace of one episode/day until I at least reach episode 250. I figure 250 episodes is enough for me to have a really solid feel for what happens. More likely I'll actually catch up to the current episodes because I'm really liking it so far. Luffy & the crew are currently fighting Arlong and his fishmen.

I'm almost done watching Glasslip because I studied glassworking last year and the main character in this show's parents own a glass studio. It also has CHICKENS which is fun. It's a high school romance/drama which is normally completely not my bag but it's interesting enough for me to be glad watching it. The character designs are more detailed than I'm used to and the "love hexagon" as a friend group's dynamics shift are kind of interesting. Also there are characters seeing/hearing the future but that element of the show seems to be kind of messy.
But at it's core, it's still a high school romance/drama and not an especially excellent one.

Today I started Silver Spoon which is all about farming/agriculture and was created by Hiromu Arakawa of Fullmetal Alchemist fame. I'm into gardening and food production interests me so I thought the first episode was great. I love how the main character STRUGGLES with the BIOLOGY of food. I'm completely sold on the entire series from just the first episode!

728 episodes in so far and I still enjoying watching it on a weekly basis. Really there isn't much filler to the show although they do have a tendency to really stretch out battles so storing up a few episodes to watch in a single go is about the best way to watch it.

Wow I don't know how you do it dude, haha. I can't do that at all.

Big fan myself, but my approach is letting a full arc pile up or for like 100 some episodes to accumulate. Because when I watch One Piece, it's usually 100 episodes in a week somehow. lol, so I catch up instantly.

As for Nemoide, I think you'll be hooked around the 50 episode mark with a great arc there, or near the 100's with the first big arc.

Ehh I need to get back into watching it but one piece is definitely on the list along with fairy tail. It makes it really annoying since I tend to wait on the dub to drop(I don't have as much of a issue as some do with dubs even if funi's is super far behind because of that stupid drought of it when toonami was originally cancelled...).

Also been watching death note. I'm around ep 30 but with the way things are going I don't know if i can bring myself to watch the last few episodes. Need to watch the sequel seasons of AoT and SAO...

If you've been watching and collecting anime as long as I have, you've probably got plenty of unseen series lying around in the archives. Let's just say I have a few. So recently, I grabbed the first season of Ikki Tousen off the shelf. Yep, here's a show I've had on DVD since 2003, and finally thirteen years later got around to watching. I finished the first season anyway.

What is Ikki Tousen? It's a pervert show where high school girls beat the crap out of each other, all while constantly exposing their undergarments. That's really what it is; punch, kick, panty shot, rinse repeat. Now, there is a plot in here about ancient Chinese warlords infusing the girls' spirits with their own arcane powers, and the battles therefore being metaphoric of the Three Kingdoms lore. Or something. I don't know. I just watched for the pantsu. Apparently the pantsu took the series pretty far too, because there are multiple seasons of this show.

Would you enjoy Ikkit Tousen? Well, all I can say is, if you enjoy these NSFW screenshots, then I guess you would:

I repeat, this show's NSFW folks.

But maybe the show's beat 'em up video games are:

Just thought I'd mention watching it, because this is an anime no one ever admits to watching.

I'll admit it. OG hentai son.

I watched the first season a ages ago it wasn't very memorable though. It's one of those shows where every fight pretty much revolved around each character losing as much clothing as possible  .

I actually like hentai (hope you guys don't worry about what I fap to haha)... but I have to say, I hate ecchi shows. My philosophy is to just skip that crap and get to the real stuff.

Of the ones I tolerated and didn't mind, I thought Queen's Blade was OKAY. But I guess there's a bunch of sequels and more now. I'm not that interested to keep watching more though haha.

I'm rewatching Armitage III (OVA) right now... nostalgia blast! Probably haven't seen this one since the middle school days. So far it holds up well, but it's hard to go wrong with those late 80's / early 90's Blade Runner influenced OVA's heh. Watching this and Dirty Pair is a nice combo.

I remember not liking Dual Matrix though. Think it had some nasty early 2000's CGI going on and just didn't seem like the same series at all. I probably won't bother with that.

I still have some Gall Force to watch, might get back to those after I finish up Armitage and Dirty Pair.

Also, Giant Gorg is now out for any classic mecha fans out there. I think this is one of the last 80's Sunrise mecha shows that I need to see.
