I love the 16-bit era. There were so many original, weird and unique games and it feels like there's always something new to discover, even now.

This one is a Genesis/Mega Drive game called Haunting, with the object of the game being to haunt a family out of their house.

I totally agree - I love the 16-bit era. I've never even heard of this one! Sounds like the premise to Beeteljuice.

it's a lot like Beetlejuice. And very fun. EA was killing it on Genesis back then.

Just finished writing my 100th review... I think I might make to 366 before the end of the year. We will see.

Ah, I recommend Beetlejuice (the film). Quality early movie from Burton before he became a glorified production designer, and great performance from Keaton.

Damn, 100 reviews written. How long do you normally spend with each piece? Do you have a master list of all 366 games you intend to write about?

I try to have a handful of unpublished posts to use when I get busy, but right now I'm down to just 4 (one of which I'll post tonight). I WAS trying to use my free weekend to get a nice backlog of posts written..

But after we started talking about SW Battlefront, I felt the urge to play it, despite not loving it, despite being frustrated by so much of its design. So I re-installed it and played til rank 40...

Haha I told you Battlefront is good, despite its flaws. It's freaking Star Wars! :P

I'll check out Beetlejuice sometime, thanks. I must say, it does sound intriguing.

And as for your questions, yes, I did produce a master list I'm working through, although it's not static. I'm constantly swapping games. Also, I started writing my reviews in December to get a bit of a head start. How much time I spend varies. I'll be honest though, as this is just for fun, I don't spend much time proof reading etc.

I think Mario 3 is almost impossible for any adult to review objectively. So few times does a game receive such hype yet actually exceed all expectations and become an instant legend.
