Minnesota remains wonderful in the summer. 60-75 everyday, some rain at night, cool breezes - the occasional 80 degree day to hit the beach.

The weather said last night that we would get 3 inches of snow in the morning today. I woke up at 8 AM and looked out my window... There was already more than 3 inches on the ground and it was snowing pretty hard. So I check the weather, and it was updated to 3-6 inches, and maybe 8 on the East end of the island (where I live). OK. So I finally get to work, and then the weather updates it again to 6-8 inches for the entire island. Then updates it again for 6-12 inches for the entire island.

So, last night we were told to expect up to 3 inches in the morning, and now we're looking at a foot of snow. Quite a difference there.

Similar situation here. Heard "1-3 inches" but there are 3 inches already with no signs of slowing down.

Unusually mild winter overall though.

It was like 70 degrees earlier this week. Before that, it was 20 degrees. Now it was 40 degrees.

5 today when we got up, about 17 now.

A deep freeze Sun-Wed coming up, zero and below, but then 20's after that and possibly the end of the very cold.

Generic Colorado weather here in Aurora. Cold, and sometimes snowy.

This has been the weirdest winter that I can ever remember. I've experienced warm winters on Long Island before, but nothing that bounced around as much as this. It was 50 degrees on Christmas, then it got cold, then warm, then cold. It snowed 2+ feet the other week. Then it was 60 degrees out. I never saw that much snow melt that quickly before. Now it snowed a foot yesterday and is back to being cold. About 20 degrees when I got up around 8 AM. I wont be surprised if it's 50 degrees in two weeks, then snows the following week.

It's been kind of wonky here, too. We had a warm December (80s), finally some cool-down in January (low 70s), then Wednesday it topped out at 82 and now it's back down to the 60s.

I wish the weather would just pick something and stick with it for more than a week.

It was in the 70s last week. It's apparently going to snow again Friday. Jesus, seriously, weather, make up your damn mind.
