Just a heads up on the RFGen submitting - the time it takes for a game you submit to enter the database varies wildly.

I've had games approved within 20 minutes. Other times it's taken around 5 weeks.

I submitted a handful of these as sets. I don't know if they're also on the database individually, as I haven't looked. I consider a set or compilation to be a "single game" for the purposes of my collection list.

Speaking of RFGen, I finally created a wishlist there the other day. To use the phrasing of prfsnl_gamer, this is my "high priority" wishlist, about 25 or so of my most sought-after games. Contrast this to my standard wishlist, which is like 300 games......

Yeah, about 10 of my submissions were handled, and I've gone ahead and added them. I've got all of my Steam games listed now. As for GOG, still gonna be a while. I'm not even halfway with putting those in.

Nice. As you know, I also keep an extensive "want" list. I highlight five to ten titles for each system and classify them as "high priority" wants. Finally, if I am trying to finish off a collection for a particular system, any games I need for that system are, basically, "high priority" wants. (If I see a "high priority" title for a collection I am trying to finish off, it is probably best to get out of my way.) It is a pretty complicated system, but it works for me and informs me regarding the best use of my collecting resources.

Hey, did Backloggery get rid of their console lists showing who owned, had beaten, and had completed the most games in any category?

Member list is gone, but the stats are just temporarily gone.

Ah, ok. I liked the stats thing, as it let me compare myself to others. It gave the whole thing a competitive edge that pushed me to get through more. I was also pretty proud that I was on a couple of the Top 10 Completed Games lists.

damn dood. I forgot it was so early this month. Crap. I'm not sure I'll be able to afford to grab it on launch day. :\
I love strategy games but have never played an XCOM game because... I live under a rock? I don't know really.

Should I?

I bought the wife Yarn Yoshi because it came with the Wooly World game I bought her for Christmas. She loves that little thing - it is pretty damned cute.
