Well, that's an opinion.

That's why I like King's Field so much.

I'm probably just a dirty casual but I liked Grimlock. Mainly because it wasn't very hard, and for the puzzles. I hate most traditional Dungeon Crawlers though and found it to be much more approachable than most. Didn't finish it so maybe my opinion would have changed later on.

My opinion was based on 12 hours of play. I was over halfway through when I shelved LoG.

Honestly, I've played far better first person dungeon crawlers than LoG. Just because LoG is one of the prettiest first person dungeon crawlers, doesn't automatically make it one of the best. And just because it's challenging in obtuse ways, doesn't mean the challenges are actually well designed, or even entertaining. Let alone varied or interesting.

Hey but I'm just a casual with no frame of reference for these things. I say if you want a decent easy dungeon crawler, hit up Brandish: The Dark Revenant. I did beat that one last year at least. It's a breeze, you guys should waltz through both its modes just for shits and giggles.

IMO, anyone who hasn't beaten Battletoads, Bayou Billy, Cosmophony, Nectaris, R-Type Delta, Wizardry IV, and all of the the bonus stages in Electronic Super Joy is a dirty casual gamer...myself included.

Now...I am off to download some more F2P match-three puzzlers!!!!!

Wait, is that sarcasm? I could have sworn I remember reading that Brandish was meant to be pretty tough...

I'd like to play LoG because I love dungeon crawlers... but I really am not good with a mouse. Gimme a console port... or better yet, Vita! Yep I'm a filthy casual...

It is 100% sarcasm, in response to us sarcastically calling him casual.

Damn the sound effects in FDS Zelda are terrible! The screaming bosses sound like sharting squirrels.
