Hell yes, Jessica Jones is getting a second season!

GOT season 5 was a bit underwhelming for me. Hopefully 6 kicks it back up.

Honestly Season 4 was a hard season to follow so much great shit when down that Season 5 was bound to lack in comparison. That being said I'm still looking forward to picking up Season 5 and devouring it in a day or 2 marathon when it comes out on Bluray.

Broadchurch - very well done; British murdery-mystery-drama. David Tennant is excellent as usual. Show has great scenery, solid acting, and a bit of a Twin Peaks feel. Finished season 1 last night. Starting season 2 tonight...

I'm streaming on fox.com while I type this. Please forgive the "Stream of consciousness" nature of this post.

I liked the vignette voiced by David Duchovny summarizing the X-Files over a series of photographs.

On one hand, the Roswell segments have good production values; on the other hand, I don't dig the big shiny CGI spaceships. I thought the series was creepier when they didn't show you the spaceships, aliens, or monsters right away.

Gillian Anderson still has amazing cheek bones. No wonder they call her "scully".

Ultra-conservative-talking-head man has villainy written all over him. The writers are taking a none-too-subtle stab at their Fox/Newscorp overlords.

Brunette-accent-lady is attractive, but unreliable; she changed her story three times in three acts.

All semblance of subtlety flew out the wormhole when Mulder stepped into the faraday cage with the big, shiny UFO.

"Something something zero point energy blah blah oil companies are evil"

Mulder calls Scully on the phone to tell her nothing. Then Mulder meets the wise old man who tells Mulder nothing. Then Mulder and Scully argue about nothing on the front porch.

Apparently the conspiracy this time is that the government is trying to take over America. I fear we may already be too late to stop them.

EXPLOSIONS!

I like seeing smoking man hitting his cig through his trach tube.

Ultimately, I may be too old, too skeptical, or too grumpy to enjoy X-Files the way I used to.

I have been watching the second season of Agent Carter. My wife and I both love it, and it is, IMO, the best live-action television show based on a Marvel comic book character. (To be fair, however, we have not yet watched Jessica Jones.)
