Generally if Xseed publish something, then I put it on my list to pick up. Same goes for Atlus. Akibas Trip was $19.99 on BIN from Ebay from Newegg and Lost Dimension was around $25 from Amazon with Prime. Not bad for both new based on what they have been going for. $25-$30 is generally my limit on games unless i'm picking something up that is special.

Akiba's Trip is essentially an otaku version of Way of the Samurai. It's has some issues but all in all a pretty fun Action RPG. Or Beat 'Em Up. I dunno what to call it.

I've gotten like that with Xseed, MarvelousAQL, and Idea Factory.

Yes, easy to do, but it's a pain in the ass to get them off the Vita.

Or at least, it was about two years ago last time I did it.

I'll check it out.

Here's something funny. When I Google "take a screenshot with Vita" I get this right on the Google search results page:
"To take a screenshot, press the PS button and the START button at the same time. You can view the captured screenshots in (Photos). To take a screenshot, a memory card* is necessary. For a PCH-1000 series system, you must have a memory card for the PS Vita system inserted."

When I inquire the same in regards to the 3DS......
I get a 10 step Wikihow article that tells me I have to first connect to the internet and get on Miiverse...

I didn't even know you could take screenshots with the 3DS.

The reason I learned how with the Vita, is that I wanted to help promote Conception 2 when it was released. So I took a bunch of photos of it as I played through and uploaded them to GameFAQs. Mostly perv stuff but 'eh.

Anyway I remember I had to make a PSN account, connect my Vita to the internet into the PSN account, then connect a PC to the Vita over USB, and then use the PSN account to transfer the pictures form the Vita to the PCs hard drive. It was some stupid shit like that. I mean why couldn't I just hook a USB cable to the Vita and slurp them off straight?

Screenshots on Vita are a real pain... because you have to press the start button, it feels like half the time it takes a screenshot... right as I pause the game.

Transferring them also is a pain. Have to use Sony's own app for it, as far as I know... presumably to protect from piracy.

I will say it's slightly easier - not that much - taking screenshots on Vita 2000 or whatever the new model is called. The downside (for either model) is that it only works on native Vita games... no PS1, no PSP.

One cool feature is that you CAN take screenshots when you're doing remote play, though.
I review (mostly old) games at: The Annals of Retrodom.
