Well, other stuff going on in the news:

On Wednesday, a suicide bomber in Kabul, Afghanistan, attacked a bus full of MOBY Group employees. MOBY Group owns TOLOnews, the leading 24/7 news network in Afghanistan. The attack killed 7 employees and injured 26 other civilians. The Taliban claimed responsibility but also claimed that TOLOnews is actually an enemy intelligence network because it had published articles that were not "impartial," and the employes were "enemy personnel."

China has detained Swedish citizen Peter Dahlin for spreading "negative information about China." Dahlin co-founded the Chinese Urgent Action Working Group to help train human rights lawyers and provide legal aid to Chinese citizens. The Chinese government claims the organization was a threat to China's national security.

The Mekong River Commission is facing a radical restructuring after nearly all foreign funding was dropped, first due to devaluing currency in 2015 followed by concerns over potential fraud. Pham Tuan Phan has been appointed as the new CEO of the organization and will attempt to fix the problems the organization faces.

Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif traveled this week to both Iran and Saudi Arabia in an attempt to mediate hostilities in the wake of the execution of Shia Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr earlier this month.

Afrobarometer, a continent-wide public opinion research group in Africa, released a new report stating that in the last three years, people in 22 out of 33 African nations reported a rise in access to basic necessities such as food, clean water, medical care, fuel for cooking, and cash income. While the improvements look promising, poverty is still rampant in Africa, with 3 out of 4 citizens from 35 nations saying they went without cash income at some point in the last year. While Africa has been experiencing economic growth in the last decade, Afrobarometer also made sure to point out that this did not correlate with poverty reduction, as some nations with large economic growth also saw poverty increase, while others with only small gains saw poverty decrease.

Tensions are simmering in Seychelles over December's presidential election, where incumbent James Michel won with fewer than 200 votes. The island nation's Supreme Court is studying the results, while the opposition is throwing accusations of bribery and electoral fraud.

Kenyan Justice Isaac Lenaola has suspended an amendment of the Judicial Service Commission Act allowing President Uhuru Kenyatta to appoint a new Chief Justice and Deputy Chief Justice in the wake of an ongoing lawsuit from the Law Society of Kenya. The organization contends that the law interferes with judicial independence and was passed without the approval of the Senate.

The Tanzanian government has shutdown and banned weekly newspaper Mawio, claiming that the newspaper published articles which promoted violence. The paper published articles in favor of an opposition candidate in last October's presidential election. Two editors from Mawio were detained and released on bail, though no charges have been filed against them.

Somali security forces have ended a siege on a restaurant in capitol Mogadishu, after it was stormed by Islamic gunmen allied with terrorist organization al-Shabab on Thursday. At least 17 civilians were killed in the attack. Meanwhile, Kenya Defense Forces have launched a counter-offensive strike against al-Shabab bases in Somalia in response to an attack last Friday against an African Union military base where the terrorist organization claimed it killed 100 Kenyan soldiers.

Prof. Hawking is a forward thinker. Most people tend to worry about everyday stuff most of the time.. Or finding the time to play Destiny (thank God I didn't get Destiny during the winter sale!)

Honestly, the main reason I'm one paycheck away from the streets is because I can't stop buying video games I may or may not ever play.

You use the term as if Bernie Sanders isn't considered a "SJW" by many.

SJW is a stupid term in the first place. It's an excuse to act like an ass and imply that someone who doesn't agree with you is automatically inferior. It reminds me of something a teenager would run around using in place of logic in an argument.

Sanders is only considered a commie in the US, elsewhere he's just run of the mill.

I hate the term SJW for that very reason. If someone kills you in a game, and I call you out for calling guy a faggot, I'm not being a "social justice warrior;" you're being a homophobic douchebag.

It doesn't matter what he does or what kind of track record he has, people are so entrenched in their ranks that they will jump on any possible opportunity call him a racist who hates women and minorities.

I can't help but think that if even him is considered to be a racist homophobic traitor to the "liberal" tribe, there's absolutely no hope for me so better not to try
Strangely enough, I haven't heard anybody say this about him internally. There are some questions among the Democratic Party about whether someone calling himself a socialist is capable of winning the general election, but beyond that...not much in the way of insults.
Most people I've heard criticizing Sanders are Clinton supporters. And most of the criticism has been along the lines of him having a spotty record on opposing guns, the fact that nearly all of his supporters are white, and that he's just overall unelectable.

Another factor is that he's new to the Democrat party. I think he only just became a Democrat less than four years ago, even though he's been in politics for about 40 years? Whereas Clinton has been a loyal, influential member for decades. In that sense Sanders receives the same opposition from the Democrat establishment that Trump is getting from the GOP establishment.

Hillary Clinton is an android. Didn't you know she superdodged a sniper bullet in Bosnia, and that her email server warped into the 7th dimension?

And what about this new Brazilian virus? Imagine if it's gone global.. That'd cut back population growth drastically.
