My girlfriend is away for the weekend, so I have the house to myself. I could throwan epic party, but that's too much work, so I decided that this would my weekend plan instead:

I also realise I probably won't have time to play all of these, but the plan is to choose one, play it until I want to move on, then have a shot at another.

Valis 3 is awesome. I picked up from my save at stage 5, which is insanely hard, and played through to the end. Expect it in the games beaten thread soon.

Bionic Commando I'm struggling to get used to. It has potential, but like a lot of Capcom stuff it doesn't seem to be gelling with me as much as everyone else.

Galactic Pinball was OK, but I have to say it's the first Virtual Boy game I've felt a bit funny after playing.

Monster Lair is fun but way too hard. I don't know if I'll keep trying legit in future or just use a cheat code for infinite continues instead.

For my run of Akai Katana I limited my continues. I was really out of practice though, and ended up dying on stage 4. Not my best run! I have a bad habit of letting myself get boxed in in the bottom corner when dodging bullets.

Next up is Bomberman!

I have the American versions of both Valis III and Monster Lair. Wow is that PC Engine artwork so much better. Snag the PCE remake of the first Valis when you get a chance.

So speaking of PC-Engine, the TurboGrafx-16 region locked, isn't it? Is there a way to circumvent that region lock-out?
