It is, though obviously the larger screen real estate improves it. Sonic 2 is better balanced on on the Master System though still not great.Ziggy587 wrote:It's not really the same on the GG as it is on the SMS though, right?Gunstar Green wrote:Sonic 1 on Game Gear and Master System is a pleasant little platformer developed by Ancient. The rest of the 8-bit Sonics by Aspect leave a lot to be desired.Ziggy587 wrote:I never gave them much of a chance, but they certainly look better than the Game Gear games!

Awesome game. A friend and I just sat down and beat this one again a few weeks ago. One thing though. I don't think continues are unlimited. They just aren't shown to you.SNESdrunk wrote:Thursday, January 21, 2016 - Jackal
we got all the way to the final boss and ran out of continues and had to start from the beginning again. It might just be multiplayer though.

I liked the look of Majyuuou until you mentioned the price.
Jackal is awesome. Another one I don't own for some bizarre reason. Maybe I'll get the disk version just to be a weirdo. Is the arcade original on any Konami compilations?

Re: SNESdrunk reviews
Jackal is in my top 10 NES games and currently one of the best dollar-to-quality value titles on the console. The co-op is killer.
Also:

I need a pixel-art mosaic of that.
