Best Wii and/or 3DS Imports

Post by ElkinFencer10 »

Since Homebrew allows for playing imported games on Wii and (as I learned today) 3DS, I've decided to work on expanding my import library on those console to play some of the games that Americans missed. I've got Project Zero 2: Wii Edition and Project Zero 4, but those are the only Wii imports that I have.

What are some of the European or Japanese (provided that language barrier wouldn't be an issue) imports for the Wii and the 3DS that yall would suggest?

The two best European imports I've finished are Another Code R and Disaster Day of Crisis.

Another Code R is the sequel to Trace Memory on DS. Another Code R is an amazing adventure game and I loved the hell out of it. Here's a trailer:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOrGiO-Jhvc
(Trailer is Japanese with English subtitles, but the PAL version is English all the way.)

Disaster Day of Crisis is a crazy summer action flick of a game. Highly entertaining. Trailer:

(Bad quality blurry video but 'eh what are you gonna do.)

As for Japanese imports, I recommend Zangeki no Reginleiv. Trailer:

Yes it's a gory dismemberment musou style game with occasional pantsu. Developed by Sandlot and published by squeaky clean Nintendo. In Japan only. Of course. Because Nintendo would never be two faced at all nope never.

I should have just sent you a PM about this; you have a knack for spending my money for me. My W2 needs to hurry up and get here because I think my tax refund just got spent.

If it makes you feel any better I don't know squat about 3DS imports. Hopefully someone will walk in here and school us all.

I only know of a couple 3ds imports - the inability to play them until recently kept me from looking at them. Puyo X Tetris and Sega 3d Classics Collection are obvious choices, but the other two I have played of note are:
- E.X. Troopers - it is like a step between Phantasy Star Online/Monster Hunter and a Third Person shooter. Its 4 player and an off shoot of Lost Planet

- One Piece Grand Battle X - 80 something character Smash Brothers like game. Plays more like Dream Tv or Jump Super Stars though. I liked it more than Smash on the 3ds, but thats just me.

As for Wii imports, that will be a post when I have more time. But Exhuminator already said alot of the best.

Edit:
Wii
- Earth Seeker - it is a really cool RPG similar to Xenoblade. It is just now getting a decent English translation so I plan on actually beating it soon:

- Puyo Puyo 7:

- Shape Boxing 2 - despite the name it is more of a rhythm game:

- Crazy Climber Wii - Classic Arcade game made more interesting:

- Milestone Shooting Collection 2 - if you dont have Ultimate Shooting Collection already. It just adds Radirgy Noa and Illvelo.

- Captain Rainbow - Just watch the trailer:

Did that English translation patch for Captain Rainbow ever get finished?

Earth Seeker is pretty cool, but the constant loading between rooms will drive you crazy after a while.

I must have this!

I'm thinking about getting that Japanese Chib-Robo Wii port. There's an English patch for it, which makes it even more tempting.
