ET's biggest problem is how damn confusing it is. You're right, though, once you figure out what you're supposed to do and what haphazard assemblage of pixels represents what, it's an okay game. Also, if yall haven't tried Halo 2600, you should. I got it on a 2600 cartridge on AtariAge, and it's actually REALLY good. It plays a lot like Berzerk, and that's always a good thing.
