At Exhuminator's suggestion, I'm going to table Rodea the Sky Soldier for the moment and start Sin and Punishment: Star Successor today. I know Metal Jesus said in one of his videos that he thought it was among the best games on the Wii, so I'm looking forward to it.

Yep, Star Successor is muh favorite Wii game. And I think it's Treasure's best game ever. As long as you play it on at least Normal difficulty, you'll have a good time. Easy mode takes the challenge away and the gameplay suffers for it. (I haven't completed an Expert run yet.) If you can get a friend to co-op with you it'll be even more fun.

Here's the game's trailer for those who don't know what it is:

Sleeping Dogs = I'm on the final story mission now. Hoping to finish it up tonight. If I have enough time, I'll knock out its Nightmare at North Point DLC pack as well. I really enjoy the game, but King's Field III is calling me darkly like a siren succubus. I want to dive in it ASAP, but gotta finish up Sleepan Doggas first.
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

Started back on the Nep train the other night--HDN Re;Birth 1. Seems kinda grindy, but maybe that's just the early game?

That game is boss, and it is absolutely one of the best on the Wii. The Wii-Remote is perfect for rail shooters, and I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.

I don't know if I'm just a little baby or what, but that game is kicking my ass up and down the street, and I've never seen so many bosses crammed into one level. I will say, though, it is a DAMN well made game with some fantastic artistic direction. The faces on homeboy and whatsherface, though, make me REALLY uncomfortable, and I'm not sure why.

It's mostly just early game (at least it was for me). There will be some parts here and there where you'll need to grind a bit, but for the most part, it's one of the less-grindy JRPGs that I've played. Are you playing on PC or Vita? I played on Vita, and it was really easy to grind while I watched TV or read a book once you were a few levels above the enemies in whatever dungeon you chose for your grinding.

Playing on PC. I read some stuff that said there is a difficulty spike at the 2nd chapter, which is currently where I'm at. Makes sense it would seem grindy atm then.

Just started SMT Devil Survivor 2 Record Breaker on 3DS. Like literally just started. I'm like 20 minutes in if that. The voice work seems decent, the graphics are nice, and as with many Atlus games I enjoy the artwork.

I picked Apocalypse difficulty which I'm told is the "traditional" difficulty of these games, so I'm a little bit scared.

Last night I played Asteroids on my 2600 for a couple of hours straight.

I can roll the score no problem on the "slow" game variations. But the fast ones? No way. Best I have ever managed to get was 50,000 or so points when I was a kid. The best I could do last night was just over 20,000.

But it's still a great game and my favorite classic Atari title.

Some of the increased difficulty levels on Atari games are just insane.
