I am surprised to see you rank Mega Man 5 so highly, and I am surprised to see Mega Man 7 so low.Sarge wrote:Gotta get in on this. Heh.

Maybe? Seems legit.
Also, I must note, that from a boss/level design perspective, I think Mega Man 10 is just OK. The game is just chock full of features, however, and it is infinitely replayable, especially if you pick up the DLC. (It has three difficulty levels! It has challenges! You can play as Bass! You can play as Proto Man! It has a time attack! It has an endless endurance mode! It has three bonus levels with the the Mega Man Killers from the Gameboy games!) All of those extra features really elevate it, IMO. (Also, the Weapons Archive in the first stage of Wily's castle is a rad boss.)
MM7 is pretty good. Most of the game is not that hard, but the difficulty spikes dramatically at the very end of the game. (I would link to a video of people fighting the Dr. Wily at the end of the game...but all of the ones online show people who are pretty terrible at dodging his attacks and can only beat him by exploiting save states...Ack wrote:The only mainline Mega Man I have not beaten is Mega Man 7.
