So far I haven't really gotten into Demon Gaze; I think the fact that it takes a while to get a full party is what really turns me off. Or maybe I'm playing it wrong and I should be grinding cash for party slots right off the bat.
But I gotta say I was surprised by Dungeon Travelers 2. Under the ecchi there's actually a decent dungeon crawler.

I'm working through it now. If you want to replace any of the inital 5 party members it's a pain in the ass because the new party members come so underlevelled.

Is Dungeon Travellers 2 worth getting at full price? I was waiting for it to come down in price, but looks like it won't...

Re: Playstation Vita thread
I understand. For me I draw the line after the 3DS and Vita are finished with their run. Whatever handhelds come after that, I'm not buying or collecting for until I finish all my 3DS and Vita games. Until then I will hoard the shit out of 3DS and Vita dungeon crawls though.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I feel like I already have about 100 million unplayed dungeon-crawlers hanging around. Re: Playstation Vita thread
I picked it up with an Amazon voucher at Christmas after I enjoyed the demo. The demo is actually pretty long, so I'd give that a go and see what you think to decide. You can continue your save file from the demo if you buy the full game, so it's not wasted time if you do pick it up.Reprise wrote:Is Dungeon Travellers 2 worth getting at full price? Quite a lot of Vita releases don't drop much in price, although the dungeon crawlers tend to be amongst those that do get a little cheaper, so it's up to you. Either way, very few Vita games actually plummet in price, so I doubt you'll be too distraught if it's £5 cheaper in a year or two.

Thanks. I had no idea there was a demo. I'll check it out!alienjesus wrote:I picked it up with an Amazon voucher at Christmas after I enjoyed the demo. As for the dungeon crawlers I would say Dungeon Travelers 2 is the best my prediction on price and rarity are that it will be a big one on the vita. Demon Gaze is very good and my next recommendation, Operation Abyss is my third pick but be warned its very difficult and has a huge learning curve. If I was to pick one Dungeon Travelers for sure!
Lost Dimensions is another one I predict being highly sought after in the future and starts off pretty good in my opinion, it's turn based RPG.
Editing: Criminal Girls in too this one should be highly collectible I love this twisted game it's fantastic.

Sleeping on exclusive Vita games is never a good idea. This system will be a collector's dream eventually, and its exclusives will only get more and more expensive as time goes on.

I really wish they'd patch more games to work on PS TV. Or at least Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1...TEKTORO wrote:And the ones that work on the PS TV as well!
