I want to say from the trailer that while the title screen is not English, the menus are.

The menus are in English. The games voice overs were also in English even in the original version of the game. Not that they help make any sense of what is going on.
You'll have no issues playing it at all.

I used to own the cart and remember the menus being in Japanese. The game is a lot of fun and well worth picking up. I may have to bite on this one.

The menus were translated for the VC release, so you remember right.jmbarnes101 wrote:I used to own the cart and remember the menus being in Japanese. The game is a lot of fun and well worth picking up. I may have to bite on this one.

Yup, was playing and enjoying this one last night - good grab with the price drop putting it below $9 vs the regular $11.99 (which is two bucks more than 64 games due to the costs i'd guess).alienjesus wrote:The menus are in English. I made good on my promise, and I also picked up Tetrobot & Co. (which was reduced from $10 to $5).prfsnl_gmr wrote:I will be picking up Knytt Underground, Kung Fu Rabbit, and Sin & Punishment.
Still no word on FullBlast or Puddle? I am curious about them, but would like to read some more information on them before purchasing either one.

Week 2 of Nintendo's Winter Warm Up Sale is up. There are some good deals, and I will definitely be picking up Freedom Planet for $10.49.

Week 3 with a tempting Zelda Minish Cap discount on WiiU.
I'll admit, I didn't play any GBA when it was in its prime. Maybe a little at the very beginning but i enjoy these titles on the WiiU gamepad a good bit.

Re: The Awesome Deals in the Nintendo eShop Thread!
Minsh Cap is OK. I enjoyed it, but I do not consider it one of the best titles in the series.
.....
I must admit that I am a little disappointed by this week's sale, but mainly because I already own so many of the featured games (i.e., Afforable Space Adventures, Attack of the Friday Monsters, Breath of Fire, Castlevania, Child of Light, Earthbound, Elliot Quest, Metroid, Shantae, and Xeodrifter). The only game I plan on picking up is Octodad: Dadliest Catch.
.....
While I heartily recommend each of the games listed above, I really cannot recommend Affordable Space Adventures enough. It is a spectacular game, and it makes better use of the Wii U's unique hardware than any other game available for the system.

Minish Cap is solid. Far better than the DS games, but a step down from Link's Awakening and the Oracle games to me. But I've been wanting to get it on the WiiU for a revisit, so that works for me!
